Last year’s class was so popular that we will offer it once more in 2017. During this class we will use the newly published book “Papper och Stygn” as our starting point. We will make several books and other items that are both practical and useful. We start with double signature pamphlet books, and continue with envelope books, albums, and folded books, that does not require glue. We will also learn three different binding techniques and make a nice slipcase that will hold the finished books.
All necessary materials will be provided and pre-cut, so the participants fully can focus on their own creations. Besides making beautiful objects, the goal of the class is to provide each student with a solid base of methods and techniques that they can continue to use in their own creative practice. No prior experience necessary.
